2. What personal data do we collect?

Through the website and the tools connected to it, we collect the following types of data:

• To respond to your query or comment sent through the contact form.
• To subscribe you to the ECHOES newsletter and send you messages (at the email address you gave us) about ECHOES’s activities (i.e. events, call for projects, etc.) or activities carried out by our partners. All messages sent to this mailing list have to be approved by the ECHOES Communication Officer, so that you only receive moderated information we believe to be of interest to you.
• To conduct surveys and analyse the responses for research, statistical, and project-related purposes. The surveys are anonymous unless otherwise explicitly stated, and we do not collect sensitive personal data without your explicit consent. The mailing list of survey respondents who agreed to be contacted is managed separately from the ECHOES newsletter.
• To ensure the website and the tools connected to it are functioning properly, and improve the user experience.

Your data will not be used for any other purposes without your consent.

4. Legal basis for processing your data

• The email address provided to subscribe to the newsletter is managed through the MailChimp software. Your data will be stored as long as you use the service. You can change or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us.
• The surveys run by ECHOES are hosted using LimeSurvey or equivalent tools hosted on EU-based servers. The data you provide will be stored securely within the European Union (EU) and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Who has access to your data?

Only authorised personnel involved in the ECHOES Project will have access to your data. These include project coordinators, work packages and task leaders, and any other member of an ECHOES partner who needs access to data for project-related purposes. We will not share your data with any third parties unless required by law or necessary to address your enquiry or to fulfil the objectives of the ECHOES Project. We do not collect any information for commercial purposes.

7. How long do we keep your data?
