ECHOES Consultation

Be Part of the ECHOES Cultural Heritage Cloud Initiative

The ECHOES Consultation seeks to map the very diverse cultural Heritage communities and to identify their needs and expectations for the Cultural Heritage Cloud, a platform designed to facilitate collaboration among heritage professionals and researchers, enabling them to modernise their workflows and processes.

The purpose of the consultation is to:

  • Produce a strategy for community building.
  • Inform the infrastructure design and technological choices of the Cloud.
  • Identify additional actors that want to be actively involved.
  • Provide the first integrative activities for the community.
  • Prepare new community and capacity building activities for the next project phases.

An online questionnaire is the first step. This will be used to identify the cultural heritage and related communities and their use of digital tools in their daily practices. The results will be used to guide the work in ECHOES to develop the Cloud infrastructure, tools and services as well as training and for community building. The questionnaire will be available shortly and will be open for responses until the end of April. As a result of the information gathered in the questionnaire, the next phase of the Consultation will hold workshops and focus groups and conduct interviews.
